The median price paid for a home inthe nine-countyy region rose to $341,500, up 12.3 percent from $304,009 in April but down 33.9 percent from $517,000o in May 2008, according to MDA DataQuick of San In Santa Clara Countg the median price was $445,000, down 28.3 percent from the same monthj last year.
